Ternion Firearms Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Ternion provides a comprehensive warranty for all firearms and accessories officially distributed and represented by us. All Ternion firearms are covered by a one year UNLIMITED WARRANTY and limited lifetime warranty. This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and guarantees that our firearms are free from defects in material and workmanship. Proof of purchase, in the form of a valid receipt, is required to claim warranty services.

Accessories Warranty

All Ternion accessories are warranted for a period of three months from the date of purchase.

Contacting Ternion for Warranty Claims

Before submitting a warranty claim, please carefully review the "Terms of Warranty" and "Limitations of Warranty" below.

To initiate a warranty claim, please use the Warranty Claim Form provided on our website.

Please allow up to one week for a Ternion warranty representative to respond to your claim. Do not contact our Sales Department for warranty inquiries; they cannot assist with warranty claims.

What to Expect

Upon reviewing your Warranty Claim Form, Ternion will determine the appropriate course of action for your warranty request:

1. Minor Issues: For minor issues, we will either provide instructions via email or contact you by phone to assist you in resolving the problem.

2. In-House Warranty Repair: If necessary, we may request you to send your firearm to our warranty department for repair. You will receive an email with detailed instructions and a Return Authorization Number (RA#). The cost of shipping the firearm to Ternion's Warranty Department is the responsibility of the customer.

3. Parts Supply: At our discretion, for simple repairs that do not pose liability concerns, we may send you the required parts for self-repair, along with instructions.

Typically, firearm repairs take up to 30 days to complete from the date of receipt. In some cases, additional time may be required due to parts availability and international shipping delays. We make every effort to minimize downtime for our customers.

Do not send your firearm until you have received a Return Authorization Number and firearm shipping instructions from Ternion. Any firearms received without prior authorization will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

Shipping Policies

While warranty services and parts are provided free of charge, customers are responsible for all associated shipping costs.

A $70 fee for cleaning will be charged for dirty firearms sent for repair. Please ensure your firearm is clean before sending it in for warranty service.

Ternion is located at 170 W Beaver Creek Rd, Richmond Hill, and we use Canada Post/UPS/FedEx/Purolator for shipping. Shipping costs will be calculated once the warranty form has been submitted.

Other Services

Out of Warranty Repairs: Ternion understands that customers may have acquired grey market products, and we require these firearms to be sent to us for service, regardless of the issue's scale. The Out of Warranty Service flat fee is $85, with an additional $30 for return shipping, plus applicable taxes. Additional charges may apply for machining work. If we deem a product unsafe for use, it may be returned without any work performed.

Please note that Ternion does not sell individual parts outside of warranty service. For all parts requests, we require proof of purchase and a copy of your firearm's serial number to confirm it was imported and sold by Ternion.

Terms of Warranty

Ternion Firearms warrants all firearms and accessories officially imported and exclusively represented by us. Our warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. Ternion is not responsible for product malfunction, injuries, or property damage resulting from criminal use, improper handling, unauthorized modifications, defective ammunition, abuse, neglect, or other factors beyond our control.

Warranty terms and conditions may change without notice.

Limitations of Warranty

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser only. Lack of proof of purchase will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, corrosion, damage, or barrels obstructed by foreign objects. It also does not apply to damage during return shipment.

Warranty service must be performed by Ternion personnel unless written authorization is provided for work by a local licensed gunsmith. Product modification or disassembly beyond field stripping voids the warranty.

Firearms of grey market origin or those re-exported by third parties into Canada will not be covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty.

Ternion shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages related to economic loss, injuries, or property damage arising from warranty breaches. The use of reloaded, remanufactured, or hand-loaded ammunition will void the warranty.

Important Notes

Ternion will not reimburse any charges incurred by the customer before sending a firearm to us, including gunsmith fees, cleaning fees, installation fees, and shipping charges.

Ternion cannot work on prohibited firearms. If your firearm's status changes from Non-Restricted to Prohibited, we cannot service it in-house. Please do not ship prohibited firearms to us.
